Tips for A Successful Distance Energy Healing Session (How to prepare)
Welcome to the online age! Fortunately Energy Healing is a practice that is non-local, meaning it does not need to be done in person. As long as you are open and willing to receive loving healing energy, you will! Because I am not there physically to set the scene, I am offering this blog to give you my best tips on how to help a client relax and come into the best state for receiving healing.
Come with an Intention
Bring your intention ,wellness desire or healing concern to the session. We will use the process of intention setting to guide the process. Setting an intention is very powerful with the energies present on Earth today. Some examples of an intention include healing, peace of mind, release of grief/ trauma, clarity, decreased pain, reduced symptoms, reduced side effects of chemotherapy, feeling more connected to my guides and/or to be shown what needs to be healed.If you cannot think of an intention, I can help you in the session to come up with one!
Room
Select a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. Lay or sit in a comfortable position. Some clients lay on a bed, lay on their personal massage table, sit in a recliner or lay on the floor. Sessions typically last around 30 minutes to an hour, so find a position you can maintain for that amount of time.
Breathing & Sense of Smell
In the beginning of the session I am going to instruct you through a breathing exercise. Breathing helps us to become more aware of how we feel in our bodies in the present moment. I may talk you through a guided meditation to begin the session, slowly making you aware of every joint and muscle in your body. Essential oils are an awesome tool in helping us to relax. Frankincense helps us to meditate and create our connection with our higher self. You can start your session by taking a few deep breaths with Frankincense. Sight/ Light
During a typical session, I would offer the client an eye mask or weighted eye mask. If you have something to cover your eyes and block out the light, it can often help you go deeper into your own internal world, with less distraction. Darkness will also help you relax. This is especially important if you are in a bright room
Sound
If you are conscious and working on a the sacral chakra, I recommend using the sacral chakra healing music linked below. Apply this to all other chakras; search youtube for “Third eye chakra healing music,” listen to a few and see what resonates.
